PENGARUH BERBAGAI DOSIS BOKASHI KOTORAN AYAM DAN MEDIA TANAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN SEMAI MAHONI (Swietenia macrophylla King) DI LAPANGAN
Abstract
Bokashi is an organic fertilizer produced from the fermentation of organic materials such as compost and manure by utilizing the help of decomposing microorganisms such as microbes or fermented fungi. Planting media is a material or substrate that is used to plant and support plantgrowth. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of various doses of bokashi chicken manure and planting media on thegrowth of mahogany seedlings and their interactions. This research was carried out for 3 months, in April-July 2024 at the BPDAS Palu-Poso nursery, Palu City. This study used a complete Random Design consisting of 2 factors: Factor 1 bokashi namely B0 (control), B1 chicken bokashi 400g, B2 chicken manure bokashi 800g, factor 2 planting media, namely M1 soil and burnt husks (1:1), M2 soil + burnt husks (2:1). The results showed that the effect of various doses of chicken manure bokashi and planting media on the parameters of height, stem diameter, and number of mahogany seedlings had no real effect on thegrowth of mahogany seedlings in the field. And the interaction between the composition of chicken manure bokashi and planting media on thegrowth of mahogany seedlings in the field can be seen from the treatment (B2M2) of bokashi of chicken manure 800g +grilled husks and soil (2:1) with an average of 6.00 cm, the increase in stem diameter can be seen in the treatment (B2M2) of bokashi of chicken manure 800g + with soil + baked husks (2:1) with an average of 3.61 mm, and the increase in the number of mahogany seedling leaves can be seen in the treatment (B1M2) of bokashi of 400g of chicken manure combined with soil + grilled husks (2:1) with an average of 12.71 pieces.
