Abstract
The Tangkasi conservation program implementation has been carried out by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources. The activity is still constrained by the limited data obtained, especially the demographic parameters data of Tangkasi so that the IUCN determines the conservation status of Tangkasi to be in the "Data Deficient" category. The purpose of this study is to determine the distribution pattern of Tangkasi sleeping nests in the Lore Lindu National Park Area, Kamarora B Village, Nokilalaki District Sigi Regency. This study was carried out for 3 months from February to May 2024.Data were collected by direct observation and placing sample plots using the 100-meter Strip Transect Method with a total of 4 Transects and 11 sleeping tree points. Data analysis using the Morisita Index (Iδ) and the type of sleeping nest was carried out by identifying the type of tree at each encounter. The results of the research show that the types of Tangkasi sleeping nests are banyan (Ficus benjamina), bamboo (Bambusa vulgaris), and non-plants, namely salak (Salacca zalacca). The morisita index value for the distribution of Tangkasi sleeping nests for the banyan species (Ficus benjamina) is -3.12, for the bamboo species (Bambusa vulgaris) -3.63, and for the salak (Salacca zalacca) -0.53 where the overall distribution pattern of Tangkasi sleeping nests is in the uniform category.
