Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has abundant natural resource potential. Forest vegetation is a dynamic system that always develops according to the condition of its habitat. The role of forest vegetation on rivers is very large, some of which can affect the timing and distribution of water flows. Some watershed managers think that forests can be viewed as streamflow regulators, meaning that vegetation can store water during the rainy season and release it during the dry season. Kanori, Malewa Village, West Tojo District, Tojo Una-Una Regency. This research was conducted in February 2022 - April 2022. This study used the path method with the plotted path method. To collect data on tree species on the Kanori River Bank, Malewa Village, West Tojo District, Tojo Una-Una Regency, it was carried out by means of field surveys, literature studies, and data collection. The results of this study indicate that the number of vegetation at the research location is 15 species for the tree level, the pole level is 12 species, the sapling level is 14 species and the seedling level is 16 species. L) with an INP of 81.77%, the level of the Lamtoro (Leucaena Leucocephala) pole with an INP of 71.19%, the sapling level of Bamboo (Bambusa Sp) with an INP of 73.06%, the seedling rate of Fern (Pteridophyta) with an INP of 45.33%. The Diversity Index (H') for each level was classified as High, for the tree level 2.40, pole level 2.28, sapling level 2.51, and seedling level 2.69.
