Abstract
One way to get superior mahogany clones is by vegetative propagation techniques, namely stem cuttings. Cuttings often fail without root growth. One of the efforts to overcome the failure of root growth on cuttings is to provide growth regulators or hormones. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in responses to the administration of various growth regulatory compounds that support the success of mahogany stem cuttings so that this study can be used as information material in the provision of mahogany seeds through stem cuttings. The P1 treatment of 100% shallot extract was the best treatment because it had the highest average shoot length, number of leaves, number of shoots and number of roots. Where the average shoot length was 4.57 cm, the average number of shoots was 2.00 shoots, the average number of leaves was 8.71 strands, and the average number of roots was 8.57 strands, compared with the P0 treatment without the regulatory compound. grow.
