Abstract

This research was conducted for three months from June to September 2022 at the BPDASHL Palu – Poso Permanent Nursery, Tadulako University, Palu, Central Sulawesi using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method, which consisted of four treatments, namely M0 = no cow manure (Control), M1 = 1 kg soil + 100 g sawdust + 100 g cow manure, M2 = 1 kg soil + 100 g sawdust + 150 g cow manure, M3 = 1 kg soil + 100 g sawdust + fertilizer cowshed 200 g. Each of these treatments was repeated ten times, bringing a total sample of 40. Parameters observed were seedling diameter, seedling height, number of leaves. The research data were analyzed by analysis of variance (f test). If the treatment had a significant effect, then the Honest Significant Difference Test (BNJ) was continued at the 5% level.The results of this study were that the application of cow manure + sawdust had a significant effect on the growth of the nyatoh seedlings in the parameters of increasing seedling height, increasing number of leaves, and had no significant effect on stem diameter. The application of 1 kg of soil + 100 g of sawdust + 200 g of cow manure (M3) had the best effect on the increase in the height of the nyatoh seedlings of 8.19 cm, an average diameter increase of 1.258 mm, and an increase in the number of leaves of 3.2 strands.
