ASOSIASI JENIS BURUNG DIKAWASAN OBJEK WISATA MANTIKOLE DESA MANTIKOLE KECAMATAN DOLO BARAT KABUPATEN SIGI

Abstract

Indonesia is recognized as one of Tropical country that has the high wealthy of living diversity  birds. The living diversity or biological diversity(biodiversity)is one of the term that used to state the diversity of living resources, that involves both of flora and fauna species.  The research aimed to find out the association among bird species in Mantikole tourism object in Mantikole village Mantikole West Dolo suhbdistrict Sigi district. The research was conducted at Mantikole tourism object, Mantikole village, West Dolo subdistrict, Sigi district. The research was conducted for 2 (two) months, that began on April up to May 2015. The data gathering method, IPA (Index Point of Abundance) method was a method of birds survey by taking the sample of birds communities in certain time and location. The survey was done by placing the self on the spot that chosen systematically and decided before, by recording and identifying the species and the number of individual of each species that directly (visual) or indirectly (voice).  The research was conducted to find out the association among birds species at Mantikole tourism object area in Mantikole village West Dolo subdistrict Sigi district. Based on the result of the reserach in the location found that there were 11 species of bird from 11 families that had close relationship, with the total of 77 individuals. From the 11 families, there were  2 species of Sulawesi endemic birds and1 species of Indonesian endemic bird.
