PENGARUH BERBAGAI JENIS PUPUK KANDANG TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN SEMAI KEMIRI (Aleurites moluccana Wild.)
Abstract
Candlenut ( Aleurites moluccana Wild.), is a plant that is used as a source of oil and spices. Factors that affect plant growth consist of internal factors contained in the seeds or in the plant itself as well as external factors that are outside the plant, such as infertile growing media conditions. One solution is to add organic fertilizer to increase fertility. This study aims to determine the effect of various types of manure on the growth of candlenut seedlings ( Aleurites moluccana Wild.). The research was carried out from March to May 2021, at the Rano Indah Farmer Group Nursery, Uwemanje Village, Kinovaro District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. This study used a completely randomized design method, which consisted of 4 treatments, namely: P0 = Soil without fertilizer (Control), P1 = Soil + Cow Manure, P2 = Soil + Goat Manure, P3 = Soil + Sheep Manure. Parameters observed were seedling height, seedling stem diameter, number of seedling leaves and the value of seedling robustness. The results showed that cow manure (P1) gave a better growth effect compared to the other three treatments (P0, P2, and P3), with an average increase in seedling height of 20.3 cm, an increase in seedling stem diameter of 3.54. mm, and the increase in the number of seedlings was 6.4.
