ANALISIS PENGARUH DEFORESTASI TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT DI KELURAHAN WATUSAMPU DAN DESA LOLI OGE
Abstract
Deforestation caused by humans has a significant impact on community welfare, especially in areas that
depend on forest resources. Forests not only provide ecosystems but also serve as primary sources of
food, water, and income for local communities. This study aims to analyze the influence of deforestation
on community welfare and to determine the extent of deforestation in Watusampu Sub-district and Loli
Oge Village. The research was conducted from March to May 2025 using interview methods with 100
respondents via systematic random sampling, as well as land cover analysis using purposive random
sampling at a 15% intensity. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, Durbin-Watson
test, T-test, F-test, and deforestation analysis. The results show that the extent of deforestation from 2014
to 2024 in Watusampu Sub-district reached 798.57 hectares, with an average of 79.86 hectares per year,
while in Loli Oge Village it reached 1,036.83 hectares, with an average of 103.68 hectares per year. The
multiple linear regression equation obtained is Y = 6.603 – 0.115X1 – 0.046X2 + 0.124X3, indicating
that short-term (X1) and medium-term (X2) deforestation negatively affect community welfare, while
long-term (X3) has a positive influence through land management and utilization after deforestation
