Pemanfaatan Tumbuhan Obat Oleh Masyarakat Desa Boladangko Kecamatan Kulawi Kabupaten Sigi Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah
Abstract
Biodiversity is an asset of the nation that is very important and needs to be preserved and utilized. This
biodiversity is closely related to the culture of the local community. One of them is through the use of
medicinal plants used in the treatment of local etnies, especially those around forest areas. The people
of Boladangko Village are local people who still have a tradition of blending plants into medicine as
an alternative in treating a disease. This study aims to record plant species, plant parts used as
medicine, and how to use them by local communities in Boladangko Village. This research has been
carried out for two months, from October to December 2021 in Boladangko Village, Kulawi District,
Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The method using is a qualitative descriptive research
method with observation/survey techniques and interviews in the field. Interviews were conducted on
the people of Boladangko Village who were selected as respondents. The shaman (Sando) as a key
informant is considered to have more knowledge about the use of medicinal plants as well as a
respondent. Based on interviews with respondents, there were 33 species of medicinal plants from 26
families that were used to treat a disease. The most widely used plant parts are the leaves of 15 species
with a percentage of 45% and the method of using medicinal plants that is most often used by the
people of Boladangko Village is a presentation with a percentage of 45%
