Abstract
A Forest is an area that has a lot of dense vegetation which includes other trees, shrubs, ferns, grass, mushrooms and others and fills a fairly large area. Forests function as carbon dioxide sinks, animal habitats, hydrological current modulators and soil conservation and are one of the most important aspects of the earth's biosphere. A forest management unit (KPH) is a forest management area in accordance with its main function and purpose which can be managed efficiently and sustainably. Community access to forest resources can take various forms and typologies according to the socio-cultural conditions of the community, the history of the community with the forest and the community's economic hopes for improving their lives. This research was conducted in Siweli Village, Balaesang District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi.
