Abstract

Avocado (Persea americana Mill) can be propagated by shoot cuttings. This study aims to determine the effect of
rootone F concentration. This research was carried out for three months, from November 2020 - February 2021.
Located at BPDASL Palu-Poso Tadulako University. With a completely randomized design method. The results
of this study indicate that the application of rootone F affects the growth of avocado shoot cuttings, based on the
results of the 5% test (BNJ). showed that the average number of shoots, number of leaves, and number of roots
of avocado shoot cuttings in treatment R4 was significantly different from treatments R3, R2, R1 and R0. The
treatment that gave the best response to the growth of avocado shoot cuttings was R4 = 20 mg/rootone f + 980
ml/I mineral water = 20, the growth yield of avocado shoot cuttings was from the highest to the highest. the
lowest. the lowest is R4 = 4.9 sheets, R3 = 4.3 sheets, R2 = 4.1 sheets, R1 = 2.5 sheets and R0 = 1.8 sheets, the
results of the number of leaves from the highest to the lowest R4 = 3.8 strands, R3 = 3.6 strands, R2= 3.3
strands, R0= 2.3 strands and R1= 2.1 strands, the average yield of root growth from the highest to the lowest
R4= 14.4 , R3= 11 ,7, R2= 9.8, R1= 8.0, R0= 4.4.
